2012 366: Day 142

May 21, 2012

Ida aka Betty (White) is giving us three to four eggs a week, and they are tiny.  I’ve been saving them to make something special for dinner and finally collected enough to make a frittata. She was so excited to eat the eggs that Ida gifted us that she wanted to say thanks even though they had already settled on their roosts for the night.  So, she peeped into their hen house and whispered a sweet little thanks for the yummy and nutritious gifts.

A tantrum.  An almost daily challenge.  She can go from working on her “computer” and into a full-on rage in less than ten seconds.  My hot little ticket.  Bless my sweet little Love.

Her last day of 2 1/2 year-old preschool.  In September, she’ll be in the big three-year-old classroom.  But for now, we get to spend an almost scheduled activity-free summer together.  I’m eagerly anticipating spending our days exploring and living with a little less structure.
